Procurement Engineer

Location: Baghdad

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, or equivalent field

• 2-3 years relevant experience in procurement and in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Execution of Just in Time principles in the supply of all materials required for the complete manufacturing of the facility projects

• Ensure a competitive advantage edge on pricing and delivery terms

• Local service center as well as coordination and problem-solving for fulfilling contractual deliveries

• Setting up supply agreements with key suppliers to ensure preferential pricing and delivery

• Review of stock levels to ensure optimal inventory is held on site

• Negotiate the best prices and commercial conditions to ensure the best supply of components, maximizing the profit

• Excellent in excel using for reporting and data analysis

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English

• Detail-oriented and highly organized

• Must possess excellent health and safety management knowledge
